After approximately 2.5 years, Tohoshinki's original album [TONE] was released on 28 September and achieved sales of 205,000 copies on the 10 October Oricon Album Weekly Chart. This is the first time they have achieved first place with an original album. They have also broken the record with the highest number of sales within the first week of release.
It has been 11 years and 4 months since a foreign male artiste (solo artistes included) has broken the 200,000 mark in initial weekly sales, the last being Bon Jovi's album released in May 2005. Delighted comments from the duo were also received.
"I'm filled with gratitude that our album has achieved first place. Thank you so much. I'm happy if even a little bit of the growth that Tohoshinki has made got through to the fans who are supporting us. This album was created together with the staff who also worried a lot over it. From now one we will continue to work even harder, so please continue to look out for Tohoshinki." - Yunho

Tohoshinki will be holding an event in November that is limited only to those who purchased their albums. From January 2012 onwards, they will begin their nationwide Arena Tour. Also, there's another piece of good news for fans who live in the Kanto region. [Paradise Meadow], in which Changmin starred in as his first lead role in a drama, will begin broadcasting in November. The broadcaster is Fuji TV.
