Big Bang may finally be coming to a city near you as they will soon launch their very first world tour!

The group will be holding its "Alive Tour 2012" starting on March 2-4 at the Olympic Gymnastics stadium in Seoul. The tour will go travel through 16 different countries and 25 cities including United States, Europe and Asia.

After being crowned with “Worldwide Act Award” during Europe’s MTV Music Awards, Big Bang will finally be stepping out to a bigger world to meet with its global fans.

Big Bang’s first world tour “ALIVE TOUR 2012” will hold hands with the global entertainment company Live Nation, bringing up the concert into a higher lever. Live Nation is known as the world’s best concert production company, and has helped world tours for Madonna and U2. Big Bang is the first Asia singers to earn the help of Live Nation with the joint investment and production team.

Alan Ridgeway, president of Live Nation International stated, "We’re happy to be the ones to showcase YG Entertainment and Big Bang to K-Pop fans around the world. These concerts will be a great starting point for the Korea branch we found in December 2011, and we expect it will help expand the K-Pop boom."

It’s been confirmed that the producer Laurieann Gibson will be taking the lead position as director. Laurieann Gibson is a well-known director active in directing, choreography and acting and has recently helmed Lady Gaga’s "The Monster Ball Tour", and choreographed her hits "Poker Face", "Judas" and "Telephone". She has also worked with top stars like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, and Katy Perry.

In addition, stage and lighting designer Leroy Bennett, who collaborated with Madonna, Paul McCartney and the Eagles, will help put in his efforts for the world tour. He will also be pitching in along with sound engineer Ken Van Druten, who has previosuly helped Eminem, J-Jay, and Linkin Park.

YG Entertainment stated, “Big Bang is currently trying to make the best concert they can with the best production team because it is the first time that Big Bang will be meeting with worldwide fans.”
