Upcoming boyband, ESQ, was showcased during MBC's "News Desk" special on non-Korean idols. The 5 member group was shown practicing their debut song, "Monster", as well as other cover songs such as SHINee's "Juliette".

MBC “News Desk”, the premier news program in Korea accounting over 50% of Korea’s news viewership, have featured ESQ along with group "Chocolat", idol Victoria of f(x), Fei and Jia of missA, and Nickhun of 2PM as foreigners who are breaking into the Korean music industry. They showed how truly global K-POP has become and that the Hallyu Wave is indeed real and reaching the entire world.

The program also featured an interview with Mr. Stew (Suk Min) Hong, the CEO of Avance Entertainment, the first company in the world to debut an all international K_Pop idol group, ESQ. Mr. Hong stated that the only way to prolong the Hallyu Wave and make K-Pop widely accepted throughout the world is through localization of K-Pop. He went on to say that Avance Entertainment will continue to recruit talented international individuals through global auditions to succeed in localization.
